10 Year and Lifetime Achievement Jury
The CTBUH Board of Trustees is responsible for selecting the chairs for all Awards Juries. They are also responsible for selecting both Lifetime Achievement winners, CTBUH Fellows, and judging the 10 Year Award candidates. The Trustees are also responsible for possibly designating a “Global Icon” winner, which may or may not be at the Best Tall Building Jury’s suggestion (Global Icon winners are rare—only one has been issued to date: the Burj Khalifa in 2010).Best Tall Building Jury
The Best Tall Building Jury is responsible for judging submitted buildings within five height categories and from those, ultimately the Worldwide Winner. The five-member jury is multidisciplinary (architect, urban planner, building developer/occupier, socio-economist, etc.) and represents a diverse geographic spread.<!–
