Toronto has seen more tall building construction since the Millennium than any other city in North America. The City of Toronto's Planning and Urban Design department has helped transform the downtown's growth, while also maintaining the high standard of living and quality of life that Torontonians enjoy. The primary focus of this presentation is to demonstrate how tall buildings interact with the streets, how they frame and create new open space and how the public realm is improved with the development of new tall building construction.
